Wildlife Museum: Travel the world at one location when you visit the Rosenbruch World Wildlife Museum. This experience is something you will not soon forget. ATV Riding: For nearly seven years Jim Clay has been taking people on expertly guided ATV Tours of this region. Jim knows all the best places to go and one of his favorites is the Hurricane Sand Dunes. Families, Corporate and other groups love to ride with Jim. He knows a great deal about the terrain and he'll take you to exotic and awe-inspiring locations. Jim says anyone can learn to operate an ATV. He uses Polaris machines that require that you know how to press the brake, steer and accelerate. A short lesson, the right gear and you and your family or friends are off and running. Dinosaur Tracks: One of the largest collections of Dinosaur Tracks in the world is found right here in St. George. At some distant time in the past, these large beasts roamed this terrain and the remains of their travels were imprinted in the soft sandy mud that once was part of the area. In some areas the mud must have hardened immediately because the prints are so clear and spectacularly preserved. Many of these prints were discovered and have been gathered for display at the Johnson Dinosaur Tracks exhibit.

Trail System: In recent years St. George has paved 30+ miles of trails throughout the city for Walking, Biking, Running and Roller Blading They even put a million dollar walking bridge across the Virgin River so the trail systems would connect on each side. There are trails winding through communities, passing parks and even one that travels eastern rim of Snow Canyon State Park. You can ride a short distance from our facilities to connect to several of these trails. Check with us about renting bikes.

Hiking: There are so many trails to experience that all you have to do is decide the length of your hike and we can suggest several fitting places to go. For short walks try the Ivins Petroglyphs (1,000 Indian writings on the cliffs above the Santa Clara River), or Red Cliffs Recreation Area for waterfalls, natural pools and slot canyons. Longer hikes are found in around Snow Canyon State Park and around Zion National Park.

Mountain Biking: The Green Valley Loop and Gooseberry Mesa are two of the highly rated places to ride in the area. There are many mountain biking single track trails with all types of terrain. St. George is the site of various biking races and local bike shops have plenty of maps for individual trails. Ask us for more details if you'd like to rent a bike and adventure into the back country or on the paved trails.

Softball: St. George is well known for softball, soccer, and other sporting tournaments. With the ability to host 100 teams for a softball tournament, St. George is a sports mecca and the Canyons softball complex has been awarded the best in the U.S. in recent years. Teams come from all over North America to participate in tournaments. Around many of the sports complexes are parks for relaxing, playing with children and for picnics or barbecues.

Jeep Tours: Want to get outside but you'd like to have a guide. Take a jeep tour into the back-country and learn about the history, geology, archeology and more. The southern Utah region is filled with ancient Indian ruins, writings and artifacts. The canyons of Utah are the most diverse in the world and Snow Canyon State Park, Pine Valley Mountain, the Virgin River Gorge and Zion National Park are all within a short drive.

Water sports: There are three reservoirs in the area; Sand Hollow Reservoir, Quail Lake State Park, Gunlock State Park. Each is accessible for boating/watercraft, water sports, and fishing. With two hours drive is Lake Mead (Overton).

Horseback Riding: This is the wild west and riding horseback into the canyons or across the broad expanses of this region takes you back to earlier times when outlaws roamed the west and cattlemen protected their ranges. You'll even find a buffalo or two in the area, and the skies are usually not cloudy all day. Ask for details about horseback riding opportunities in Zion National Park or in the nearby regions.

Aerial Tours: Plane, Balloon, Helicopter, Powered Parachute, Ultra Light or Sky-Dive. Believe it or not, you can do any one of those tours and we can help you arrange it. A morning flight in the calm air over St. George or Snow Canyon State Park is just about as breathtaking an experience as you'll ever find.

Sand Hollow Aquatic Center: This is one of the best facilities of its kind in the west. We can accommodate large groups for parties, activities, racing events and more. Indoor Facilities – hydro tube, whirlpool, lilly-pad rope course, fountains, children slides, play pool, lap pool, diving area, volleyball, outdoor barbecue, children's play area. The center itself is owned and operated by the City of St. George and is open to the general public. The facility includes a 25m by 25 yd competition and diving pool and a 5,800 sq.ft. leisure pool. The leisure pool has a zero depth entry area, interactive children's water fun toys, a water walk and water slides. Museums: The Daughters of the Utah Pioneers is just a couple of blocks away as is the Opera House and St. George Art Museum with various art and other displays.

Fun Centers: Close by is Laser Mania for laser tag and indoor miniature golfing. One mile away is Fiesta Family Fun Center where you can enjoy miniature golf, bumper boats, batting cages, go-carts, arcade and pizza. Historic Tours: This region was first settled by native Americans and in more recent times by Mormon pioneers. Looking for historic places to visit, try Silver Reef Ghost Town, Grafton Ghost Town, Historic Downtown Tours, Brigham Young Home, Opera House, St George LDS Tabernacle, Historic Jacob Hamblin Home or the LDS Temple Visitor Center.
